    • Pagany and Roby Arduini, are the guys that wrote & produced some of the best dance hits of the 90's, just to mention a few:
      Cappella, 49ers, Anticappella, Sharada House Gang... and remixes for Oxyd, Time, Slip'n'Slide, Easy Street, Su Su Bobien, Jocelyn Brown, Zucchero, De'Lacy and many many more.

      Following the many worldwide hits of the 90's and coming from their own solo careers from 1996, 2004 finds them re-creating the magic duo and Distar Records was born !


      "Echo Motel - Give it" licensed worldwide to Onephatdeeva "House Bros - Love what you feel" featuring Joy Malcolm licensed to Hed Kandi's compilation Disco Kandi and other major compilations just to mention a few, was the immediate results followed by the lucky productions House Bros feat Carol Jiani "Keep On", Arduini & Pagany "House Anthem" and the remixes for Jocelyn Brown, Angie Brown, Barbara Tucker and many more.

      Roby Arduini and Pagany keep working in Distar Studios as producers and remixers under the projects names: Arduini & Pagany, House Bros and Echo Motel.
      Their sound is mainly House / Funky / Soulful punctuated by some electronics productions.

    • Stefano Bannò a.k.a. Anansi was born in Trento (Italy) in 1989 to Sicilian parents. Since childhood, he has showed a natural aptitude for music, and song writing in particular. His first song “No Racism” was written at the age of just thirteen. Two years later he founded the Buffalo Soldiers and started performing live around Trentino-South Tyrol.

      In 2006 he moved to Ireland, where he discovered some new aspects of his music and life. He performed with singer/songwriter Joe Cleere and joined Kilkenny reggae outfit - Ghost Town. He played several gigs around the South East of Ireland and recorded his first solo album due out in October/November 2008.

      The Traversi Quartet was born out of a desire to bring back to light, classics and standards in the jazz realm, performed with an everlasting quartet. From Kern to Rodgers and Hart, Gerswhin to Cole Porter up to Burt Bacatach, symbol of a lounge world which creates new trends, the AT4et combines immortal melodies and authors brought to worldwide success by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Sammy DavisJr and Dean Martin.

      Its really from the mythical 'Rat Pack' that AT4et takes inspiration and plays tracks such as "The Lady is a Tramp" I get a Kick" Night and Day" and "Blue Moon" with fresh new shades and 'solos' on theme variations in a typical swing mood. Might be like in the 50's in a Grand Hotel, where AT4et recreates the glamour and atmosphere of unique sounds and images

    • Kikko Martini DJ and Producer from Rovereto (Italy) in the beginning was known as "ULTRASONICS - RULIN, project created by Kikko himself, then, with a new co-productio of Mario Fargetta and the voice of Sagi Rei, a new hit was born... GET FAR - SHINING STAR... a number one on top clubs all around the world.

      Kikko is one of the most talented producers of the sister label Distar Electro with a lot of singles produced and released such as Dreamin F., Stupisong, Candela and remixes for House Bros, Echo Motel and many Distar artists. Kikko playn' in Europe and Italy too with his kind of "360 house music" this not means skate tricks but Kikko love crowd and playn' live.

    • ALBERTO CASELLA (born in 1971) lives in Salò, on the Garda’s lake (ITALY) his artistic-career started in 1990 through various steps.

      As dj played in the best clubs of Italy, as producer and “A&R”: much productions of house-music, especially the greatest hit in 1995 called B.A.R. feat. Roxy “Come together”, and other releases as “MASTERS“In da house”, “So good”, “Something”, “To me”, “Get set” played by the most important djs in the world and published on “Umm”.

      As reviewer he writes for much tabloid and sites. Now on Distar Casella works as DJ artist and remixer, first production Casella "La mia Afrika" and the remix of TTB "Jump" a curiosity: “he has been a very good fencer!”

    • From 1990 Sacchi & Durante did some smashing remixes for labels and artists. With the Fun Kee Runners "The real tribute" lead them to further remixes for many artists as Su Su Bobien, Ce Ce Rogers and many more.. In 1993 with Bum Bum Club they produced a remix for Neja 'Restless' a hit on the charts for many weeks at number 1. After several club hits the duo Sacchi & Durante aka Maurizio Sacchi and Gianluca Durante surprised the House scene with their single "The Race" released on Distar in 2009. The Race is one of the biggest club anthems of Distar of 2009.

      The Soundit started in 2001, in Verona, Italy, as an acoustic duet, Anna Benedetti, vocals, and Gianluca Anselmi, acoustic guitar and guitar-percussion. The duet played at several Jazz Festivals, Songwriting Contests, venues, and Street Festivals. In 2005 they released their first album "Acustika", a mix of covers and original songs for guitar,voice, cajon. (Featuring: Maria Vicentini, violin and viola, Salvatore Majore, cello.) In 2005 Davide Pezzin, bass guitar, and Pietro Pastore, piano joined the band.

      "Goin' home" is the title of the cd, by the italian quintett Soundit, to be presented in Europe in 2008. 12 original songs, simple and tasteful new jazz arrangements and lyrics, and one cover " Sunday morning"(Maroon5), Soundit style.

    • Phatfella is the alias for two producers Andrea Bano a.k.a. Dj Baxx and Marco 'Zeta'

      Both with musical background in funky and an unconditioned love for music, they lead their lives between gigs in clubs and recording sessions.

      Andrea Baxx is one of the producers of Atollo K the album Deep / Lounge produced in 2007 for DistarWorld .

      Coming soon on Distar their new project for a series of Deep House EPs where sounds and atmosphere are the key factors.

    • The duo started his work in electronic music together just over a year ago with a fusion of ambient sounds and electro sounds in the attempt to create something new and exciting. The two guys (Chenet & Bertola) are at their first studio experience after having worked in gigs in various club in Milan.

      Their first EP is the beginning of an explorative journey into the future of electronic music, creating their own unique and distinctive sound.

      Historic electronic labels such as Warp, Border Community etc. and the "Israel school " of artists like Shlomi and Guy Gerber gave them the spark to look for their own music adventure. Being a very young duo their future looks a very interesting and bright one.
